This is a forum about a group which has been labelled as a cult because its teachings are different from orthodox christianity. According to some news sources, it is called Jesus Morning-star, or JMS for short. From their own websites, they are officially known as Christian Gospel Mission (CGM), and colloquially as Providence in english. I am Anonymous and I respect the right of all views on this group. I welcome anonymous comments and opinions from different points of view. I do ask that all writers observe the rules of mutual respect for differing views, no vulgarities, and maturity.
I specifically hope to hear from the perspectives of members within the group which has been largely silent, perhaps due to the repercussions to their own reputation and careers.
Instead of condemning the group as a cult as many have done, I have chosen to take an open approach to hear all views. For some it is a cult. For others, it has been a calling. Therefore, this forum is titled: JMS Providence - Cult or Calling?
